It seems that everyone is getting married in Bristol this year, well not everyone of course, but 2008 so far seems to be a very popular year for the wedding photographer and not just in Bristol ,colleagues and friends around the country that I chat to are saying the same thing; How many weddings are there this year?!
It might have something to do with this summer being forecast to be one of the sunniest on record rivalling that of 1976 (if that turns out to be not the case Michael Fish will have a lynch mob after him) or it might just be that love is in the air and the microcosm is reflecting the macro. Whatever the reason if you are one of the happy couples getting hitched in 2008 and in particular in Bristol you'll probably be looking for a wedding photographer to capture the happy day.
If you haven't yet got your wedding photographer sorted out, do it asap as one of the most disappointing things that can happen in relation to a wedding is for you to return from honeymoon only to find that your pictures have not come out the way you expected, and sometimes not come out at all!
Like I have said 2008 is a very busy year for weddings and so to avoid disappointment get in as early as you can with the photographer of your choice. If you are interested in booking me get in touch; I don't charge any consultation fees and there are definitely no hidden charges.
Check out some examples of my photography in the gallery section depicting some of the
weddings I have shot in Bristol recently.

As a wedding photographer I get to see some of the best hotels, countryside, specialist venues and churches in the country. My office is Mother Nature herself and let me tell you, I think I have been blessed to be able to ply my trade in this environment and work with people on what is one of the most joyous and important days of their lives.
The home front for me is Bristol, Bath and Cardiff but I often travel further a field in the UK and sometimes abroad to shoot weddings. I don't have any truly favourite places I have worked, all have their own personalities and unique setting but some I am more familiar with and so am able to offer more detailed info on those venues and locations.
So, you are getting married in Cardiff but you are not sure about the venue or you may have a few in mind but cannot decide, just let me know your thoughts. It's safe to say that I am more familiar with wedding venues in and around Cardiff than most, so feel free to ask if you think I might be able to help. I look at the surroundings and can tell you about the aesthetics of the place, what works on photographs etc. An idyllic, contemporary or traditional setting is an important choice to make, one that can make your wedding pictures and video really special. So make time to investigate and don't hesitate to ask questions. It's your day.
